PRIVATE EVENTS

What better way to see Sydney harbour with your guests than on your own ‘pocket’ super yacht whilst being looked after by your own crew. The Count is ideal for formal or casual entertaining. How you want to spend your time aboard is the exciting part!

You can choose to cruise or sail, or try something more adventurous by choosing of offshore sailing experience. We can also anchor at one of the many beautiful harbour beaches to enjoy lunch, relax in the sun on our spacious teak decks and sun bed and perhaps a swim if you desire.

MAKE AN ENQUIRY

An evening cruise is a lovely choice if you wish to experience the sun setting over the city and the Sydney harbour bridge with the spectacular backdrop of the city coming alive at night. A spectacular backdrop for that special celebration or marriage proposal.

If you’re looking for an elegant and intimate venue for a marriage proposal, wedding breakfast or exchanging wedding vows then we can arrange a bespoke experience for your special event to suit your needs.

The Count’s expansive teak deck provides the ideal area to accommodate all of your guest for intimate cocktails and canapés.

CORPORATE ENTERTAINING

It’s often difficult to find that alternative corporate entertainment venue that will set you apart from your competition. Sydney Harbour is a great playground and The Count a perfect venue for entertaining guests.

You may choose to do a short cruise and then find a protected bay within the harbour, or perhaps treat your guests to a true sailing experience taking in the northern reaches of the harbour of Watsons Bay and Manly.

Board and executive meetings with a difference
Consider holding your next board or executive meeting aboard The Count for a meeting with an edge. The Count’s saloon can accommodate six to eight members of your executive team in a unique atmosphere. You may choose a short cruise on Sydney Harbour before we anchor in a protected cove for the real work to begin.

Adventure offshore sailing
If you would like to share a little more adventure and you have a small group of clients, you can choose an offshore sailing experience. Choosing this alternative allows you to experience what it feels like in classic yachting events such as the Sydney to Hobart yacht race. The Count accommodates nine guests comfortably for offshore sailing experiences.

Sailing regattas
There are various corporate regatta opportunities over the sailing season. The Count provides an ideal platform for corporate entertainment. Guests can choose to be involved with the crew or to sit back and watch The Count go through her paces. This is a great way to work with your colleagues and clients away from your normal corporate environment.

Corporate Branding
We can also arrange your corporate branding aboard The Count for the event including battle flags, and if you would like to consider hull decals and your brand name on our sail then we can happily discuss these longer term options with you. ADVERTISING OPPORTUNIITES

CATERING FOR YOUR EVENT

Make it Count provide premium quality catering options using the freshest produce prepared by our exclusive caterer, Sydney Restaurant Group’s SRG Catering to suit your occasion. We will work with you to understand your needs and discuss food options to suit your taste and that work best for different types of occasions.

Selections can include: Hot and cold canapés / Seafood, charcuterie and meat platters / Salad and noodle boxes / Gourmet lunch baguette rolls and sandwich platters / Buffet style luncheons or dinners /Premium cheese, fresh fruit and desert platters.

For smaller groups and special occasions, we can also arrange a more formal fine dining culinary experience provided by our Sydney Restaurant Group chef aboard The Count. Guests can also choose to provide their own food and beverages however the use of The Count’s galley facilities are only available for catered and extended charters. CATERING OPTIONS

CHARTER RATES

Make it Count offer the following options for both private and corporate charters:

Day charters – 4 hours $3,600
For private or corporate entertaining. In harbour for up to twelve guests. Offshore up to eight (8) guests. Returning before 6:00pm.

Evening charters – 3 hours $3,300
For private or corporate entertaining for up to twelve (12) guests. Departing after 4:00pm.

Corporate regattas – 6 hours $4,800
Corporate sailing regattas for up to sixteen (16) guests.

Bespoke charters
For those seeking a little more than the standard charter duration, Make it Count offer bespoke experiences. Please contact us to discuss so that we can tailor something to meet your needs.

INCLUSIONS

Inclusions:
Skipper and crew
Pickup and drop-off at designated wharves
All glassware, crockery and cutlery
Bottled water and ice.

A 25% surcharge applies for charters on public holidays.

Special rates also apply for Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Years Eve, the Easter long weekend period along with weekends that include a public holiday.

SPECIAL DATES & EVENTS

Special events and opportunities in the sailing calendar to create a bespoke tailored experience.

26 December 2021 – Boxing Day, Sydney to Hobart Yacht Race – $4,500
Watch Australia’s ultimate blue water yacht race aboard The Count amid a fleet of spectator yachts, as the racing fleet departs Sydney for the journey to Hobart. For up to ten (10) guests inshore, or eight (8) guests offshore.

31 December 2021 – New Years Eve – $18,600
Sydney’s fireworks display is famous around the world, and one best viewed and celebrated from the water on Sydney harbour. Includes canapés, a formal dinner and desert prepared by your private chef for the evening for up to six (6) guests.

26 January 2022 – Australia Day – $4,500
Australia is a proud nation and the celebration of our national day is an exciting one on Sydney harbour, with aerial and armed forces displays, the famous Ferrython and fellow Australians celebrating the day. For up to twelve (12) guests.

August 2022 – Hamilton Island Race Week
Without a doubt, Australia’s most exciting sailing event that includes a week long of racing, entertainment, activities all situated on the edge of the Great Barrier Reef in the beautiful Whitsundays. Contact us to discuss opportunities to join us.
