We share a genuine passion for sharing time with others, being on the water and lifestyle activities. Together we have a considerable depth of experience and knowledge in sailing, event management, corporate business development, and managing and operating a marine based charter tour business.

A great enthusiasm for life, fitness and lifestyle experiences are at the heart of Anthony’s dream.

The Make it Count sailing experiences concept was created, in conjunction with a passion for sailing and a desire to share with others aboard The Count, on what is arguably the words’ most beautiful harbour.  Whilst our primary focus is on sailing Sydney harbour, there are many other harbour activities, sporting events and charities that Make it Count are interested and involved in.

ANTHONY BELL

A successful 35-year career in the financial markets is a world away from his move to a lifestyle business concept that he wishes to share with others.

Anthony shared his thoughts on his motivations in life “whilst I’ve immensly enjoyed working in the financial markets and found them exciting, the achievements that I am most fond of is sharing time with my family, winning the Lindeman Island Race in the Audi Hamilton Island Race Week regatta, competing in five Ironman triathlons and breaking the 20-hour mark with my corporate team in the 100km Oxfam Trailwalker……that’s living!”

Anthony has enjoyed many years of sailing in and around Sydney harbour’s waterways, sailing experiences in the Whitsunday’s and Phuket and has various Marine Navigation and STCW Marine Safety training and accreditation.

GREER BELL

Greer enjoys sharing her passion for sailing and regularly competes in various sailing regattas and twilight racing on Sydney harbour.  Her experience includes sailing the east coast of Australia, passage-making to the beautiful Whitsundays in Queensland, and competing in the Audi Hamilton Race Week whilst being chartered by major sponsor Audi and looking after their VIP guests.

Besides spending time with our family, her favourite pastime is sailing Sydney harbour and offshore further afield.  Greer has worked with Anthony and Make it Count Sailing since inception.  Along with her sailing and corporate event management experience she understands how to deliver on client needs to ensure guest enjoyment for their time aboard The Count.

The Count is a Beneteau 57, Sydney’s “pocket” super yacht.  With her dark blue hull, teak decks and brightwork, her image and style is what sets her apart from other yachts.  Besides her good looks, The Count is perfect for entertaining.  The comfortable centre cockpit provides seating for ten guests, and the very spacious aft deck is clear of any operating sailing gear so is ideal for relaxing with guests.

Our hydraulically operated boarding platform is perfect for swimming from upon arriving at one of Sydney’s inner harbour beaches.  The platform area also includes a hot and cold shower for guests comfort.  The uncluttered foredeck also includes a sun lounge perfect for relaxing in the sun.
